The anticipated salary range for this role is between $228,713.00 and $253,421.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

Jenius Bank is hiring an experienced Executive Director, Head of Technology Portfolio & Delivery. As a technology leader, you will be the owner and driver of several complex programs, agile delivery, and technology portfolio management to support the strategic vision of Jenius Bank Product and Technology organization.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create the program structure and shared alignment with the program team across Jenius on vision, strategy, business goals and requirements, and secure cross-functional teams dependencies' commitment.

  • Manages demand lifecycle by partnering with the business to identify strategic initiatives, aligned with the business objectives.

  • Facilitates the dialogue between IT and business stakeholders, scoping initiatives and improving planning.

  • Deliver new or upgraded technology capabilities and product(s) by leading cross-functional technology teams by prioritizing, planning, executing, and managing technology projects according to timelines, value, risk, budgets and agile methodologies and processes.

  • Lead executive committee meetings with executive level stakeholders to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues.

  • Provide ongoing visibility to program status (key decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, metrics, etc.) to all stakeholders.

  • Anticipate and aggressively remove risks that slow down or prevent program teams from delivering on program outcomes throughout the entire development lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with Product, Partners, 3rd parties, and technology teams to ensure system interfaces are designed to meet the long-term program goals.

  • Create a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity, speed, innovation, and learning.

  • Lead the leaders managing agile delivery, end to end technology programs, and technology portfolio.

  • Hire, manage, and grow a team of agile PMs, technical program managers.

  • Manage technology portfolio budget, forecast, and reporting.

  • Manage technology vendor onboarding, SOW, SLA tracking, and spend

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 15+ years of Program Management experience in a related industry (experience owning a program/product/feature, scoping requirements, planning milestones, project management and working with technical teams)

  • 10+ years of experience leading software development projects with aggressive schedules and large business impact.

  • 7+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies (i.e., Scrum, Kanban etc.)

  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset that focuses on putting the customer first.

  • Experience in demand management, technology program management, and portfolio management.

  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience managing and mentoring leaders.

  • Strong communicator in both verbal and written forms and equally adept in communicating to all levels.

  • Lead senior committee meetings with key stakeholders to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues.

  • Provide on-going visibility to program status (key decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, metrics, etc.) to all stakeholders.

  • Anticipate and aggressively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent program teams from delivering on program outcomes.

  • Strong Experience with project delivery for large, mission-critical, cross-functional projects

  • A passion for data-driven decision-making
